Day by Day Itinerary
Day 1 – Morro de Sao Paulo
Celebrate the exciting event of Carnival on the island town of Morro de Sao Paulo, off the coast of Bahia, Brazil. Whether you want to enjoy beautiful beaches and amazing scenery, or participate in the ongoing parties of Carnival, Morro de Sao Paulo is the place to be. You will arrive at the Salvador airport where you will be taken to the Aerostar Hangar. From there, you will take a small plane for a 20 minute to the island of Morro de Sao Paulo. Once you arrive, you will be met by driver by the beach and taken to your hotel. You will have the rest of the day to relax on this tropical paradise and we recommend going to the beach or just visiting the town center.
Day 2 – Morro de Sao Paulo
On this day you will take a full day boat tour to see the incredible island of Boipeba and its famous natural pools. Departing from the third beach in Morro de Sao Paulo, this trip takes approximately 40 minutes to reach Boipeba. With white sandy beaches, palm trees, and crystal blue waters, Boipeba feels like a tropical paradise. At night there will be many carnival parties set up on the island’s beaches. Enjoy.
Day 3 – Morro de Sao Paulo
After breakfast, you will have a day of leisure to do anything you want or you can have a guided tour to see some the incredible beaches Boipeba has to offer and finally return to Morro de Sao Paulo where we will tour the historical city of Cairu. At night watching the sunset from the old fort is a must, before setting out to the many beach carnival parties around the island.
Day 4 – Morro de Sao Paulo
After breakfast today, we will take a horseback riding tour along the Bromeliad trail that passes through different areas of island vegetation. You will then pass through Encanto beach where you will see exotic flora and crustaceans. You will also have the opportunity to go swimming at this time. After this 3 hour tour you will return by a trail through the islands beaches back to your hotel. Upon returning, feel free to take the rest of the day to explore, go to the beach, or relax in your hotel, prior to the carnival festivities at night.
Day 5 – Morro de Sao Paulo
This will be another leisure to do as you please. We recommend trying scuba diving or surfing if you are adventurous or talking the day to go snorkeling in the same of the amazing waters of Morro de Sao Paulo or walking the trail of the lighthouse to see some beautiful beaches and scenery. If you still have energy you can hit the carnival scene at night on the beach.
Day 6 – Morro de Sao Paulo
On your last day Morro de Sao Paulo, your flight for Salvador will leave after lunch. We know you had an incredible trip on this amazing island and we hope to see you again in Brazil soon.
