Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1 – Rio de Janeiro
Rio is blessed with a wonderful natural setting, wedged between the sea and the mountains, with contrasting peaks including Sugar Loaf and Corcovado – topped by the famous statue of Christ. Experience its beauty and the colorful state of mind of its almost 8 million locals who samba their way, relaxed and high-spirited, through life.

TOUR – BREAKFAST UNDER THE SUGAR LOAF (unique & exclusive)
At a privileged location right next to the Red Beach and Urca Hill and great photo opportunities of Sugar Loaf Mountain. Tables will be set in front of the beach, a perfect way to start a wonderful day. Truly, one of the most spectacular views in the world.

TOUR – SUGAR LOAF VISIT
Sugar Loaf is a highlight and one of the symbols of Rio.
The visit will take us on a beautiful ride up to the summit of Sugar Loaf Mountain on two cable cars: the first going to Urca Hill and the second up to the top of Sugar Loaf at 396 m. Already the ride uphill unfolds amazing scenery with breathtaking views.
Its name was given in the 16th century by the Portuguese during the hey days of sugar cane trade in Brazil. According to historians, blocks of sugar were made in conical molds of clay to be transported on ships. The shape given by these molds was similar to the peak, hence the name.

Fresh oysters launch a gastronomic tour of Brazilian cuisine, followed by antipasti, hot dishes, and a parade of grilled delicacies including fish, shellfish and others. Day 2 – Rio de Janeiro
Optional Tour: CULTURAL HIGHLIGHT: CIDADE DO SAMBA TOUR
Now we will step on “Sacred Ground”, exactly where Carioca samba was born.
The thematic city transformed Samba School activities into a permanent practice. More than a tourist attraction, Samba City has become a production center of genuine Brazilian art.
From an external catwalk, we are able to pass by the “production line”, witnessing the assembly of the floats through glass windows from an 8-meter high veranda.

LUNCH AT RESTAURANT CAIS
Set on a charming 1878 building made of stone, bricks and whale oil, was a former warehouse and spices from the East products. The proximity to the port from which came the ships, was what inspired the restaurant in the heart of the old center of Rio de Janeiro.

TOUR – CORCOVADO – CHRIST STATUE & JEEP TOUR TIJUCA FOREST
Convertible jeeps will pick us up. After a short ride we enter the Tijuca Forest, feeling immediately the contrast between the ‘Concrete Jungle’ and this fantastic Tropical Forest in the middle of a city. We will pass by various panoramic points, overlooking the city of Rio. Our guests will immediately understand why Rio is considered the most beautiful city in the world. The city, the mountains, the beaches and the sea – what a mix! During the tour passengers will see different types of tropical and fruit trees, and with a little luck, animals like monkeys and sloths and various kinds of birds and butterflies.

VISIT CORCOVADO – CHRIST STATUE (unique!)
As one of the most famous icons of Rio de Janeiro, the breathtaking “Christ the Redeemer” statue soars 700 m high above the city, creating an unforgettable backdrop to Rio de Janeiro’s spectacular mountainous landscape. Being one of the seven wonders of the world, the Christ the Redeemer Statue is a must-see landmark for anyone visiting Rio the city, offering an incredible view over the city. Located in the Tijuca National Park and standing 30 m tall, this is one of the world’s largest statues of Christ. Unveiled for the first time in 1931, it was completely restored in 2010.

Day 3 – São Paulo

SAMBA TRIO ON BORD
Right after boarding the boat the samba trio starts to play and we get into the right mood. Listening to the hypnotizing rhythms while admiring the horizon is highy recommended.

Tour – GUANABARA BAY CRUISE – private boat charter
Here is another interesting way to see Rio from a different angle. We embark at Marina da Glória Cruise on Guanabara Bay, for the most beautiful views of Rio de Janeiro. Appreciate Rio skyline from the sea, and get a different perspective of famous sites such as Sugar loaf Mountain and Christ Redeemer statue.

17:30 Sao Paulo
The city of São Paulo is the biggest city in southern America with some 15 Million inhabitants from over 100 countries. The Paulistas, what people living in São Paulo are called, do basically two things: Work hard and professionally during the day and dine and party during the evening. São Paulo has some of the best museums and theaters to offer and you can admire modern architectural works right next to some colonial style houses.

ARRIVAL TRANSFER AIRPORT (GRU) TO AIRPORT HOTEL
5 minutes and you are singing under the shower. For small groups we suggest the complimentary hotel bus shuttle.

MEAL AT CHURRASCARIA
Another highlight of our trip is this BBQ-feast. Apart being considered one of the best Meat Places in town, the decoration is an attraction apart. Everyone will enjoy 20 sorts of meet, cut from the skewer, on an all-you-can-eat basis. Thanks to a fantastic buffet vegetarians wont starve.

EXCLUSIVE MEAL AT FIGUEIRA RUBAYAT
The name derives of from huge fig tree that overspreads 80 tables giving the place a magic ambience and pleasant shade during the day. But without its superb kitchen it wouldn’t be one of Sao Paulo’s top spots to be seen.

Day 4 – São Paulo
F1 – Grand Prix in Sao Paulo
The Brazilian Grand Prix towards the end of each Formula 1 season, which means that they are usually very interesting. It takes place at the Autódromo José Carlos Pace known as Interlagos and is located in a suburb of the city of São Paulo.
The circuit is one of the few racing circuits that go in an anti-clockwise direction. Many drivers consider Interlagos interesting because it was not built on flat terrain, but follows the ups and downs of the hilly ground. This makes it harder to drive and demands more precision. Be prepared for the noise either of the engines or for the cheering when the next Brazilian driver wins the grand prix.

In midst the hectic area of Sao Paulo there is an oasis. the restaurant combines tasty and refined food with lot of nature and great art pieces.

Tour – CITY TOUR 3 HOURS
The city of São Paulo is the most important financial center in South America and has the most modern tertiary sector in Brazil. Its industrial park is responsible for around 50% of the national production and its commerce – a huge number if you consider that Brazil ranks among the 10 biggest Industrial Nations. The development boom at the end of the 19th century quickly transformed the landscape of the city, giving rise to new buildings and monuments that made it a grand metropolis. It is maybe not the most beautiful city but it can be very fascinating if you can “see behind the curtains”.
