The lodge is totally eco-friendly. All materials used for the construction originate from the local area and are used in the same way as the inhabitants did many decades ago.

The Juma Amazon Lodge has 12 riverfront bungalows and 8 which offer a view on the Amazon Rain Forest. All bungalows have a bathroom, porches with hammocks and ceiling fans.It is therefore very useful for elderly people or people with a disability. In addition, as the bungalows are close to each other they are also perfect for family’s with children.

These bungalows are located in a more exclusive area of the Lodge. It is build at the level of 15m and all bungalows are completely eco-friendly as they include solar heating, which provides the possibility to take a hot shower. Furthermore it ensures privacy as it is designed in order to be completely integrated into the rain forest.
